As per Vastu Shashtra such shapes should be choose for your house that is in regular shape example  rectangular shape or square shape like 30x40, 35x45, 40x50, 45x55, 50x60, 55x65, 60x70, 65x75, 40x60, 50x70, 60x80, 30x30, 40x40, 50x50, 60x60, 70x70, 80x80. And as per Vastu we should avoid irregular shape that is Triangle, Circles, Ellipse and doesn’t have equal sides or equal angle. Vastu says Square shape is for good future, Rectangle shape is for success in every field.

East Facing House Plan: East facingof house, one of the best possible facing houses as per Vastu. While designing east facing house plan as per Vastu, we do place Pooja room in North-East as it is very auspicious. A living room in North-East is also best place & Second option for Living room in East. We can plan a guest bedroom in North-West. South-West Master Bedroom is the best allocation and the kitchen is in South-East or North-West can consider as second best option.

For terrace that there is an open terrace towards the North Direction. The garage should be built towards the North-West side of the house or plot. Living room should be in North.

South Facing House Plan: However, South facing house not considered being good as per Vastu still with the help of creative designing we can minimize negative effects as per Vastu. For example if one have a south facing plot, still we can design house main entry east facing which will be more suitable as per Vastu.
